Before creating additional Cloud Drive Folders, please consult please consult the Global File System Architecture KB. Creating unnecessary Cloud Drive Folders will increase complexity and management overhead of permissions.
- Login to your Portal
- On the navigation pane, select Folders and Cloud Drive Folders
- Select New Folder
- Configure the Cloud Drive Folder
- Name: PortalNameDescriptor
- Owner: ServiceAccountName
- Folder Group: ServiceAccountName or ServiceAccountNameDescriptor
- Quota: Use Owner Quota unless a specific quota value for the folder is desired
- Windows ACLs: Yes when creating an SMB share which will be integrated with Active Directory, No otherwise (NFS, SMB Local Auth)
- Configure the Cloud Drive Folder
- Select Save
- Once created verify the cloud drive folder on the Cloud Drive Folders page
