Expedient uses VMware Cloud Director Availability (VCDA), formerly named VMware vCloud Availability (vCAv), to implement host-to-host replication as a disaster recovery solution for our 5 Minute RPO product. In some cases, we also use a similar setup to perform VM migrations (v2v) as part of the service delivery process.
