# How to Recover Files

Recovery is the ability to recover files from a protection job.

2. Browse or Specify path (enter * to see all protection jobs and their storage domain/view) ![](https://cdn.document360.io/69e9f9c7-5da8-45e7-a671-4b8287f36122/Images/Documentation/image-1613415384205.png)

3. Once selected, you can change the snapshot to the date/time desired in the upper right

5. Click **Download File,** or use **Add to Cart** if you plan to recover multiple files/folders
