vGateway Access Based Enumeration

A vGateway can be configured to utilize Access Based Enumeration on CIFS/SMB shares. This functionality is useful to hide shares from end user view when they do not have the permissions to access the shares.

1. Login to the vGateway
2. Select Share and then Windows File Sharing
   
3. Locate the Hide unreadable files and folders setting, check the box, and select Save
   
4. Access Based Enumeration is now enabled for the filer, when an end user does not have the appropriate permissions they will not see the folders/shares
