Service Overview

Expedient Enterprise Workspace is a VMware-powered Desktop as a Service platform that allows clients to centralize end-user workloads without sacrificing audio/video capabilities or performance. As a managed service, Expedient maintains the hardware platform, broker updates, broker licensing, and ongoing maintenance so clients can focus on their end users' needs and not the platform the desktops are running on. Clients have full admin access to their pools and virtual machines and the ability to create, update and manage images from a central portal.

Default Deployment Settings

  • Client Active Directory domain controller will be deployed to the Expedient platform
  • Client private networking will be configured on the Expedient platform
  • Tenant resource pools will be configured
  • External networking will be configured for client tenants
  • Clients will be given access to their tenant admin portal
  • Client user directory (i.e., Active Directory) will be configured for authentication
  • Clients will be provided with a base Windows 10 image with the latest patches, broker agent, and VMware Tools
  • Clients are responsible for OS patching and maintenance of images
