Expedient Enterprise Workspace - How to Login

Within the Expedient Enterprise Workspace (EEW) platform, there are multiple login portals which provide access to the various platforms that compose your EEW service. This document provides a quick summary on the key portals to be aware of, their purpose, and how to access. Please note that these URLs will be unique to your organization. More specific URLs should be provided to you during the handoff of this service.

There are four portals to be aware of for within your EEW service:

Desktop User Portal

The main URL that your end users will go to in order to access their assigned virtual desktops.  This URL will redirect to the desktop portal provided by the Workspace One appliance.

Desktop Administrative Portal (Horizon Admin Portal)

The backend administrative portal for your desktop administrators to manage and control the desktops for your organization.

Workspace One Admin Portal

Workspace One is the component responsible for user authentication and and providing users access to their desktops. The backend Workspace One administrative portal provides the organization administrator access to manage and control access for end-users.

Ctera File Share Admin Portal

Ctera is the product that hosts your organization's file share. This portal provides access to your file share.

How to Login to your Desktop User Portal

The Desktop User Portal provides access for end-users of your organization to their assigned virtual desktops. It uses a publicly available URL and requires 2FA authentication.

Login to your Desktop User Portal by accessing your tenant public desktop FQDN (example: https://desktop.contoso.com/ )

Depending on your particular setup, you will be redirected to your identity provider for 2FA login (OneLogin, Duo, Okta, Azure, etc...)

Sign in with your AD credentials (with no domain before your username).

You will be prompted for 2FA from your 2FA solution (it is OneLogin by default).

 

After confirming your 2FA token, you will be redirected to your Desktop User portal.  By default the Favorites tab is displayed first.  You may need to click the Apps tab to see assigned desktops. 

How to Login to your Desktop Administrative Portal

The Desktop Administrative Portal provides access for your organization's desktop administrators to manage and control your organizations virtual desktops and which of your users those desktops are assigned to. It is accessible only from within your organization's private network; this URL should be provided to your organization during the service delivery process.

Login to your Desktop Admin Portal by accessing the proper URL (example: https://contoso-ta.contoso.local/horizonadmin)

Sign in with your domain credentials (with no domain before your username)

After logging in you will be redirected to your Horizon Admin portal.

How to Login to your Workspace One Admin Portal

Workspace One is used to provide access to users of your organization to the EEW desktop platform. The Workspace One admin console provides access to the privileged administrators of your organization to the Workspace One backend and control end-user access to their desktop portal.

As an administrative user, login to your Desktop Portal by accessing your tenant public desktop FQDN (example: https://desktop.contoso.com/)

You will be prompted for 2FA access. Confirm your token and proceed.

Within the Desktop Portal, go to the top-right corner of the page and click on your user icon. Click on "Administrative Console"

You will be presented with your Workspace One admin console.

How to Login to your Ctera Fileshare Admin Portal
