Additional Switch Ports

If you find that you will need to add more switch ports to your current environment in one of our datacenters you will need to work with your Account Executive to generate a Project Change Request (PCR).

Please gather the following information so that we will be able to assist you in getting the new switch port(s) in place:

1. Confirm quantity.

2. What is the required speed for the switch port(s)?

3. What type of switch port do you need, copper or SMF/MMF?

4. Is the switch port(s) intended to connect to an already existing network in your environment, or will it be part of a new network setup?

5. If connecting to an existing network, what IP range should it be associated with?

6. If new, what is the intended use & configuration?

Gathering this information before making your request will help to make the process as smooth as possible.
