Install AI CTRL Chat as an app and it runs in its own window, without browser tabs or toolbars — reachable from your desktop or home screen like any other application, with the full functionality of the web interface.
There's nothing to download. This creates a shortcut to the same secure address you already use, and you'll still sign in the same way. No app store, no install package, and nothing for IT to approve.
On a Computer
While logged into AI CTRL Chat, select the install icon on the right side of the address bar — a computer with a downward arrow.

In the popup, select Install. A shortcut appears on your desktop.

A new tab appears on the taskbar. Right-click it and select Pin to taskbar.

Safari installation is available on macOS.
Go to your AI CTRL Chat address and select the Share button.

Give the app a name or keep the suggested one (3A), then select Add (3B).

While logged into AI CTRL Chat, tap the three dots at the top right and select Install and create shortcut.

Go to your AI CTRL Chat address, tap the three dots, then select Share.

Give the app a name (3A), make sure Open as Web App (3B) is on, then select Add (3C).

Checking it worked
Open the app from your desktop or home screen. It should launch in its own window with no address bar and no browser tabs, and take you straight to your AI CTRL Chat sign-in or interface.
If you land in a normal browser window with tabs and a toolbar, the shortcut was created as a bookmark rather than an app. Remove it and run the steps again.
If the install option isn’t there
Make sure you're signed in first. The install option appears once the app has loaded, not on the sign-in page.
Check you're on a supported browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, or Safari. Other browsers may not offer installation.
Check whether it's already installed. The icon disappears once the app exists on your device.
Some managed devices restrict app installation. If none of the above applies, contact your IT team.
