Cloud Data Protection Caveats

Expedient utilizes Cohesity for our Cloud Data Protection service on Nutanix AHV Private Clouds.

Please note the following limitations:

• Cohesity does not currently support the backup or restoration of Volume Groups.

  Expedient recommends utilizing the data protection services built into AOS to backup, protect, and restore volume groups.

• Cohesity does not support Instant Volume Mounts on AHV clusters.

  The Cohesity agent will need to be installed an any VM that requires the restoration of individual files.
