http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=2953_1.htm
System Requirements - IBM Notes iDataAgent
Security & Permissions:
Expedient requires a service account with Local Admin privileges to run backup and restore operations.
Disk Space:
- 1.5 GB of minimum disk space is required for installing the software.
Data Set:
What Gets Backed Up
- Notes Databases generated on File Allocation Table (FAT) file systems
- Notes Databases generated on New Technology file systems (NTFS)
- All Domino transaction logs
- System Files, like NLO files, server ID and notes.ini
- All Notes databases and templates (.nsf and .ntf), logged and non-logged, visible to the IBM Domino
What Does Not Get Backed Up
Backup for all other data types not mentioned in the above list are not supported, including:
- Shared mail databases
- Databases on remote computers
- Database full text indexes
- Non-database files (for example, exe, dll, dir, dsk, box)
- Notes data stored on IBM Notes computers
NOTE: The Commvault File System Agent will be leveraged to back up Notes Data on the IBM Notes computer.
Special Considerations:
A collection of the following Domino server details will need to be provided in the SMC ticket that corresponds with this work effort:
Domino server details:
- Name of the Domino instance
- Path to the directory where the instance resides
- Path to the directory where the Domino software resides
Partitions for Notes Database:
- Name of the Domino partition - By default, the naming convention followed is partition_0, partition_1, and so on.
- Name of the Domino data directory - This is the Domino data path.
- Name of the Domino binary directory - This is the Domino binary path. This path is the same for all the partitions.
